Small | Herrin, LLP was founded by Gus Small, Brent Herrin, Anna Humnicky, and Ben Klehr as a boutique bankruptcy, litigation, and business law firm providing legal advice to small to medium sized businesses, their owners and families, and institutions in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, higher education accreditation, estate planning, tax, and wealth preservation.  We advocate a team approach for our clients to achieve the best results.  We use our experience and professionalism to customize solutions for our clients.

Three of our founding partners have been practicing law together for over a decade.  Each of our attorneys has over a decade of experience.  We assisted our clients in mitigating their risk during the 2000's as their businesses grew, assisted many new clients during the "great recession" as they dealt with its repercussions, and continue to work with them after the "great recession" as they rebuilt their businesses and lives.
