Sourav Sengupta

Sourav Sengupta has over 13 years of work experience, beginning with their role as an Analyst at Deloitte in 2007. Sourav then moved to CRISIL Limited as a Research Analyst in 2009 before joining Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings Ltd. as a Senior Analyst in Capital Modeling in 2010. In 2013, they founded and became CEO of Foretellex, a knowledge platform that identifies weak-links in the business value chain and maps out possible paths through which associated weak-links would be impacted. Sourav also managed a team of business professionals to perform market research and develop go-to-market strategies. In 2015, they joined KPMG as a Senior Associate, consulting financial services clients with capital modeling, appetite-tolerance-limit framework design and execution, scenario analysis and stress testing, regulatory compliance such as ORSA, key risk indicators (KRIs) development and integration with capital models, and operational risk taxonomy development. Sourav also integrated creative dash-boarding and story-boarding with technical results/ initiatives for senior leadership adoption. In 2016, they joined AIG as a Senior Expert in Capital Analytics. Finally, in 2020, they founded and became CEO of Small Joys.

Sourav Sengupta completed their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Calcutta from 2002 to 2006. Sourav then went on to pursue a Post Graduate degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Osmania University from 2006 to 2007. In 2013, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Financial Risk Management from the University of Connecticut.
