Marco Bertini

Co-founder

Marco Bertini is the co-founder of Small Pixels, where they contribute to advancing technology that enhances video quality from compressed streams. Currently, Marco serves as an associate professor at the University of Florence and directs the Media Integration and Communication Centre (MICC), focusing on automatic multimedia analysis. Previously, Marco worked as an IT consultant and has extensive experience in research projects related to semantic video coding and digital libraries, along with a solid educational background, including a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Florence.
