Software Engineer - Android at Small Planet Digital

Diego Bezerra has over 10 years of professional work experience. Diego began their career in 2004 as a Trainee at the Laboratório de Sistemas Embarcados e Computação Pervasiva - UFCG, where they developed applications for Symbian OS integrating software with several hardwares using bluetooth, as well as applications using python in collaboration with Instituto Nokia de Tecnologia (INdT). In 2011, they became a Teacher at mobility course at Faculdade iDEZ. In 2013, they took on the role of Project Manager at Embedded Labs Ltd. Diego then moved on to become a Software Engineer at HappyFunCorp in 2014, an Android Engineer at Handler Industries, Inc. in 2015, and a Senior Software Engineer at Virtus, UFCG in 2016. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at Small Planet, where they developed DC and Boomerang streaming apps. In 2020, they joined Perry Street Software (SCRUFF & Jack'd) as a Software Engineer - Android + React Native, developing the Scruff and Jack'd Android applications. In 2021, they returned to Small Planet as a Software Engineer - Android.

Diego Bezerra has an extensive educational background. In 1997, they obtained an Electronics Technician degree from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica da Paraíba. Diego then continued their studies at Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Automation Engineer Technology in 2006. Diego then went on to earn a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Telematics from the same university in 2008. In 2017, they obtained an Associate Android Developer certification from Google Developers. Diego also obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Udacity Brasil in 2018 and Coursera in 2019.
