Nithin Kamath

Nithin Kamath is the co-founder and CIO of Zerodha, India's largest stockbroker. Nithin is also the founder of smallcase, an investing platform for long-term stock market investors.

Born in Bangalore, India, in 1980, Nithin Kamath began their career as a proprietary trader while still pretending to attend college at the Bangalore Institute of Technology. Nithin then spent three years as a senior telesales executive with Manipal Infocom, where they traded during the day and worked in a call center at night focused on US markets.

In 2004, Kamath became a partner at Kamath Associates, a franchisee of Reliance Money. Nithin later founded Zerodha in 2010, which quickly became India's largest stockbroker. In 2015, they co-founded smallcase, an investing platform for long-term stock market investors.

Nithin Kamath attended the Bangalore Institute of Technology.
