Rahul Goyal

Rahul Goyal is an accomplished backend engineer with extensive experience in designing and scaling backend systems. Currently serving as SDE2 at smallcase, Rahul has successfully led the redesign of order flow architecture to support millions of users, developed fault-tolerant systems, and mentored junior engineers. Previous roles include founding engineer at Anukai Solutions, where Rahul architected microservices-based backends, and backend developer at Udacity, focusing on workshops and hackathons for engineering students. Rahul's skill set includes technologies such as Node.js, Golang, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS, with a strong emphasis on system design, API development, and distributed systems. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Chitkara University.
