Raman Kapoor

Raman Kapoor currently serves as Vice President of Business and Partnerships at smallcase since September 2025. Previously, Raman held the position of Head of Strategic Partnerships at Fi from January 2021 to June 2025, overseeing banking and financial services partnerships and managing a portfolio of over 3 million users. In a prior role as Business Head for Mutual Fund and NPS at Paytm Money from October 2018 to December 2020, Raman significantly scaled assets under management to INR 5000 Cr. Raman's experience also includes leadership as Growth Lead for In-App Products at FreeCharge, where a 120% increase in the transacting user base was achieved. Raman began a career in investment banking as an analyst at Goldman Sachs from August 2011 to July 2014. Raman holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accountancy from Christ University, Bangalore, and furthered education with a qualification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
