Utpal Sheth

Utpal Sheth is a board member at smallcase, a company that helps people invest in stocks and funds. Utpal has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including stints as a principal relationship manager and CEO.

Sheth began their career in 1991 as a research analyst with Insight Asset Management. Utpal quickly rose through the ranks, becoming CEO of the company in 2001. During their tenure, they forged a strategic alliance with HRS Insight Financial Intermediaries, an Indian stock broking firm.

In 2003, Sheth left Insight to join Enam Financial Consultants as a principal relationship manager. Utpal worked with clients in the Organised Retail, Capital Goods, Cement, Manufacturing, Power, and Infrastructure sectors. In 2009, they joined TRUST as managing director.

Sheth has been a board member of smallcase since 2016. Utpal is also a member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI) Advisory Committee on Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).

Utpal Sheth has a CFA from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India and is currently working in the field of financial analysis and investment management. Utpal also has a degree in cost accounting from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and is currently working in the field of accounting and taxation. Utpal has also done their B.Com from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, University of Mumbai and Narsee Monjee College of Commerce.
