Blake Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and roles. Blake started their career at Larscom, where they served as a Hardware Manager and Senior Hardware Engineer for six years before being promoted to Vice President of Engineering. Blake then transitioned to Cisco Systems, where they held various positions including Hardware Manager and Project Manager, Senior Software Manager, and eventually Director of Engineering. During their time at Cisco, they led teams through the product development lifecycle, optimized development procedures, and worked closely with customers to deliver successful software releases. Following their tenure at Cisco, they joined Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Inc. as the Manager of New Product Development, where they were responsible for driving all aspects of product development projects and modernizing the engineering infrastructure. Currently, they are the Director of Research and Development at SmallHD, leading a team of engineers to design cutting-edge display products for video production applications.
Blake Johnson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University. Blake also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same university.
