David Beníček

David Beníček has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. From 2021 to present, they have been with Smallpdf, initially serving as a Senior Frontend Engineer before progressing through roles such as Staff Frontend Engineer, Engineering Manager, and currently as Group Engineering Manager. Prior to Smallpdf, David worked at Skyscanner from 2016 to 2021, starting as a Software Engineer and later becoming a Software Engineer II. Additionally, they have experience as a Tutor/Agile Coach at the University of Glasgow, where they successfully completed an Agile course and supported student groups in delivering their projects. David's work experience began as a Software Engineering Intern at Whitestein Technologies in 2012. Overall, they have a strong background in software engineering and management, with expertise in frontend development and Agile methodologies.

David Beníček completed their education in a chronological order. David attended the International School of Zug and Luzern from 2008 to 2013. David then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Business and Management at the University of Glasgow from 2013 to 2017. In 2014, they had the opportunity to study abroad at The Chinese University of Hong Kong for one year as part of their program. Subsequently, in 2017, they enrolled at King's College London and obtained a Master of Science degree in Advanced Software Engineering with Management in 2018. In the same year, they attended Fudan University for an International Summer Session.
