Max Küng

Max Küng has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Max joined Smallpdf in 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at The Toolpark Corporation AG from 2010 to 2015, where they were a Software Developer. In this role, they implemented new features and components for the CMS/application platform Toolpark pc3 in PHP, wrote specifications for Linux production servers and development machines, and gave CSS and JavaScript classes to employees of sister company Screenlight Interactive AG.

Before joining The Toolpark Corporation AG, Max worked at IFIT Institute For Innovative Trading AG from 2003 to 2010. Max had two roles during this time. First, as a Software Developer, they built a real-time trading client for an internal trading simulation and algo-trading platform in C++ using the Qt Framework, and built a backoffice application and tooling for a real-time trading simulation platform in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Microsoft SQL Server. Max also maintained Linux web, database, and email servers running CentOS. Second, as an Apprentice Software Developer, they built and designed customer websites and internal tools using vbScript, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. Max also maintained software and hardware for two popular Swiss stock exchange platforms and provided technical support for stock exchange operations personnel using C#, Visual Basic, and MS SQL.

Max Küng also has experience as the Founder of sk8boarding.ch e.V., a skateboarding website and online community in Switzerland. Max created content and became a member of the Schweizerische Vereinigung der Jugendpresse ASPJ (Swiss youth press organization) during their time there from 2001 to 2005.

Furthermore, Max worked as an Intern at ODN AG from 2002 to 2003. In this role, they fixed and maintained Windows computers for all the companies in the building and built and designed websites and internal applications using HTML, CSS, ASP vbScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Max Küng attended TBZ Technische Berufsschule Zürich from 2003 to 2007, where they received a degree as Informatiker mit eidgenössischen Faehigkeitszeugnis in Software Engineering.
