Stephen Handojo has a strong background in quality assurance and manufacturing. Stephen currently works at Smalls as a QA and Manufacturing professional. Prior to this, Stephen served as the Quality Assurance Manager at NaturPak Pet, where they managed a team of 12, ensured compliance with quality policies and procedures, and implemented a food safety program in a new facility. Stephen also achieved an AA grade for BRC requirements and obtained approval to export pet food products internationally. Stephen's previous experience includes roles as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at IPM Foods, an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Research and Development Intern at PT. Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya. During their time as a researcher, they worked on investigating the stabilizing effects of Soybean Soluble Polysaccharides on whey protein, and presented their findings at a conference.

Stephen Handojo began their education at Foothill College from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Food Science. Stephen then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014 to 2017. During their time at the university, Stephen also completed a Minor and obtained a Certificate in Business Program from the Wisconsin School of Business.

In terms of additional certifications, Stephen has obtained several qualifications. In 2016, they completed the HACCP Training Short Course at Deibel Laboratories. In 2018, they attended the FDA Better Process School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2018 as well, Stephen completed the Thermal Processing Course at TechniCAL, LLC. In 2019, they obtained the certification of Preventive Control Qualified Individual - Animal Food from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), and they also completed the Thermal Processing: Principles and Practices in Food Preservation course offered by Britt & Associates. Most recently, in 2021, Stephen obtained certification as a Preventive Control Qualified Individual - Human Food from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), and they completed the Internal Food Safety Auditor Course provided by Eurofins.
