John O'Brien

John O'Brien has a diverse and extensive work experience. John began their career in 2014 as a Summer Work Placement at HLN Group, where they produced calculations for the foundations of buildings and the associated engineering design and manufacturing drawings. John then moved on to The Live Lounge as a Promoter in 2015. In 2016, they worked at AllSaints as a Menswear Stylist, developing key workplace skills and honing their analytical ability. John then worked at Reiss as a Sales Advisor, where they specialised in sales, stockroom operation, visual merchandising, and tailoring suits and other garments for customers. In 2018, they took on an internship at Optimum Credit Ltd. as a Credit Risk Intern, applying their computational knowledge to the financial sector. In 2021, they joined Quantum Advisory as a Data/Investment Analyst, implementing mathematical analysis for the investment of client's pension schemes. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at SmallSpark Space Systems as a Graduate Space Systems Optimisation Engineer, developing a forked version of moore. Ai and liaising with teams within Space Systems.

John O'Brien attended Swansea University from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering. John returned to Swansea University in 2019 and obtained a Master of Science in Finance and Big Data Analytics in 2020. In 2015, they obtained a Black Belt in traditional Wado-ryu Karate from the Hawthorn school of Karate.
