Max Furman has over 8 years of professional work experience. Max began their career in 2011 as a Software Engineering Intern at the National Robotics and Engineering Center. In 2012, they joined Betable as a Software Engineer and later took on the role of Lead DevOps Engineer and Interim Manager. In this role, they oversaw a cluster of 50 servers on a bridged network between Rackspace and AWS, built a continuous integration pipeline using Git, Bash, and Jenkins, and developed and implemented an incremental backup project for a Cassandra cluster. In 2016, Max moved to Smallstep as a Software Engineer.
