Marc Stickdorn is the co-founder and CEO of More than Metrics, a start-up focused on innovative software for service design such as Smaply. They have developed the Journey Map Ops approach, a human-centric system for managing customer and employee experience using digital journey maps. Having authored and edited several award-winning books and academic papers on service design, Marc speaks regularly at conferences and teaches at universities. They hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg, and previously worked as a research fellow, lecturer, and consultant in the field. Marc resides in Innsbruck, Austria, enjoying the natural beauty of the European Alps.
