Maokai Lin

Maokai Lin is the Chief Technology Officer at Smarking, a parking analytics company. Maokai has a background in data science and has worked with companies such as Facebook and Morgan Stanley in the past.

At Facebook, Maokai worked as a data scientist on the team responsible for data-driven optimization of ad contents and frequency in news feeds. Prior to that, at Morgan Stanley, Maokai was a summer associate where they built mathematical models to consolidate multiple data sources and enhance the accuracy of mortgage pricing.

Maokai has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Harvard University.

Maokai Lin completed a PhD in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Computation for Design and Optimization also from MIT, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University.

Their manager is Wen Sang, Chief Executive Officer.
