Anurag Kumar

Anurag Kumar has a progressive work experience in the technology industry. Anurag began their career at Quark as a Software Engineer in 2004 and then joined Fiorano Software as a Senior Software Engineer in 2006. In 2008, they joined Smarsh as a Member Technical and eventually took on roles as a Senior Member Technical, Solutions Architect, and Engineering Manager. At Smarsh, they worked on cloud-based products dealing with social media compliance, engagement, and security. Anurag then transitioned to Amazon in 2015 as a Software Development Manager, where they managed Deals & Detail pages and led the Diwali Traffic Scaling initiative. Anurag returned to Smarsh in 2017 and held various positions, including Senior Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and currently serves as the Senior Director of Engineering. In their current role, they are responsible for managing a big data enabled multi-Cloud Archive product with business applications like Supervision, eDiscovery, Metrics & Analytics, utilizing cutting-edge big data technology stack and ensuring data reliability.

Anurag Kumar attended the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a BTech degree in Computer Engineering.
