Deepa Thakur

Deepa Thakur is an accomplished Manager of Data Analytics at Smarsh since February 2022, where the responsibility includes managing a cross-functional agile team to transform raw data into actionable insights, focusing on architecting a Data Warehouse for analytics and reporting. Previously, Deepa served as Manager of Enterprise Search at SAS from October 2014 to February 2022, leading a team to enhance the company's internet and intranet search capabilities, including implementing a powerful Apache Solr platform and optimizing resource allocation through Visual Forecasting. Earlier experience includes roles as a Technical Lead at Securboration, where Deepa managed technical projects using various technologies, a Software Engineer at RSI working on tax discovery systems, and as a Software Developer at Acuitrek Corp. and InsWeb Corporation, where recognition was received as the 2002 Rookie of the Year. Deepa holds an MBA in Business Analytics from The Graduate School at UNC Pembroke and a BS in Computer Science & Technology from the University of Mumbai.
