Mark Willis is an experienced Principal Engineer at Smarsh since October 2021, focusing on innovative solutions for electronic communications data. Prior to this, Mark served as Lead Software Engineer at CME Group from August 2016 to October 2021, where leadership in cloud solutions and the delivery of the Exchange's first cloud solution were key achievements. With a solid background as Principal Software Engineer at Skillsoft for over a decade, Mark excelled in designing middleware solutions and enhancing content delivery systems. Mark's technical expertise spans various tools and technologies including AWS, Kafka, SQL, and Java. Academic credentials include an M.Sc. in Computer Science and a BA in Management Information Systems from Queen's University Belfast.
