Blake Etheridge-Yan

Blake Etheridge-Yan, CFA, currently serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Smart since October 2024. Previously, Blake held multiple roles at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from January 2020 to October 2024, including Manager of Portfolio Management and Adviser of Portfolio Management. Blake's experience also encompasses a managerial position in Funding & Liquidity at ASB Bank (April 2017 - January 2020), and a role as Valuation Controller at HSBC (March 2015 - January 2017). Earlier career stages included a Dealer/Analyst position at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (February 2011 - December 2014) and a Finance Graduate role at BNZ (February 2009 - January 2011). Blake earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from The University of Auckland, completing the degree in 2010.
