Jon Stratford

Jon Stratford has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jon began their career at KPMG, where they worked as an Audit Manager and Chartered Accountant from 1993 to 1996. Jon then moved on to become a Director of Private Equity and Corporate Finance at KPMG, advising private equity houses and management teams on buying and selling businesses. In 2006, they joined Xchanging, where they held several executive roles, including Executive Director of Financial Services, Group Director of Strategy & Corporate Development, Executive Director of Global Insurance, and Americas Region CFO. During their time at Xchanging, they led various strategic initiatives, M&A activities, and commercial contract renegotiations. In 2017, Jon joined Smart Communications as the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the delivery of customer conversations management platform services to global brands.

Jon Stratford completed their A Levels in Economics, Maths, and Physics at St Johns school, Leatherhead from 1987 to 1989. Jon then obtained a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham, studying from 1990 to 1993. Jon also obtained additional certifications including ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales in 1996, Corporate Level Strategy from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2011, and became a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2016.
