Jens Lehmann

Jens Lehmann is a seasoned researcher and educator in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, currently serving as Principal Scientist for Artificial General Intelligence and Alexa AI at Amazon since 2022. In these roles, Jens focuses on enhancing reasoning capabilities of large language models and developing innovative approaches in natural language understanding and knowledge representation, while also mentoring fellow scientists. Jens holds the position of Honorary Professor at Technische Universität Dresden and leads the Smart Data Analytics Research Group at SDA Research. Previous roles include Lead Scientist at Fraunhofer IAIS and Full Professor at the University of Bonn, with a substantial academic history at the University of Leipzig.
