Alex Constantinou

Alex Constantinou has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alex began their career as an Economic Research Assistant at Transform Drug Policy Foundation in 2011 before moving on to work as a Drugs Volunteer/Web Content Writer at Release. In 2012, they worked as a Graduate Support Worker at LONDON CYRENIANS HOUSING LIMITED. From 2013 to 2014, Alex worked as an English Second Language Teacher at EF English First. Alex then taught English as a Second Language at Apollo English Vietnam from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Alex attended CodeClan as a student. Following that, they worked as a Software Developer at Lumera Health from 2018 to 2020, where they specialized in backend and devops and successfully created an online booking platform for NHS Scotland. From 2020 to 2023, they worked as a Software Developer at People's Postcode Lottery, where they were responsible for modernizing and improving the monthly draw process. In 2023, Alex joined Smart Data Foundry as a Senior Backend Engineer.

Alex Constantinou completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at UCL from 2007 to 2010. Alex then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in History from UCL in 2010-2011. In 2017, they enrolled in a 16-week course in Computer Software Engineering at CodeClan, which they completed in 2018.
