Lucy Lloyd has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Lucy began their career at the BBC in 2007, starting as work experience and eventually becoming a radio features producer. During their time at the BBC, Lucy was involved in various aspects of producing features and documentaries for BBC Radio Scotland, Radio 4, and the BBC World Service.
In 2015, Lucy started their own small business called Tildabeest, which they operated until 2016. Lucy then joined Stockbridge Local as a digital content producer, where they generated story-based articles to enhance the website's offering.
Lucy's next role was at Comely Bank Publishing in 2018, where they worked as an author until 2022. Lucy then moved to Smart Data Foundry, where they took on multiple roles. Initially, they worked as a digital designer from February 2022 to November 2022. After that, they transitioned to the role of a content strategist from October 2022 to June 2023. Currently, Lucy is serving as a product owner at Smart Data Foundry, starting from June 2023.
Throughout their career, Lucy has gained expertise in content creation, digital design, and project management, making their a valuable asset to any organization.
Lucy Lloyd's education history begins with their high school education at Craigholme School from 1985 to 1998. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry at the University of St Andrews from 1998 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, Lucy Lloyd obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, where they attended from 2002 to 2005.
