Jonathan Blutinger

Jonathan Blutinger is a Design Engineer and Creative Technologist with experience spanning over nine years at the intersection of engineering and product development, particularly in innovative food technologies. Jonathan contributes to the U.S. Army’s Food Engineering & Analysis Team and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University. Previously, Jonathan held positions such as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Redefine Meat and Lead Product Design Engineer at Sam+Nic, and has been involved in teaching various engineering courses at the University of Pennsylvania. Jonathan's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and multiple degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
