Austin Gray

Austin Gray has had a long and successful career in the aerospace industry. Austin began their career in 1996 as a Supplier Manager for the British Army's WAH64 Longbow Apache Attack Helicopter. In 2004, they became a Program Manager for the US101 Flight Operations at AgustaWestland. In 2005, they were promoted to Program/Supplier Manager at AgustaWestland Helicopters Limited. In 2007, they moved to Ducati North America as Technical/Aftersales Director. In 2015, they were appointed National Service Director at KTM North America, Inc. In 2016, they joined ICON Aircraft as Technical Director Service and Flight Operations. In 2019, they took on the role of In Charge of Chassis, Skateboard, Upper Body & Closures/Manufacturing at Canoo. Finally, in 2021, they were appointed Chief Operating Officer at Alden. Throughout their career, Austin has been able to identify and streamline process gaps, create structured communication and process to support supplier and engineering interactions, and align customer service operations for continued market segment growth. Austin has also achieved multiple successes, such as achieving 100% regulatory compliance, reducing yearly consumer warranty law repurchases by 80%, decreasing new model introduction program timescales by 20%, delivering 48 weeks of training to 450 personnel, and cutting warranty diagnostic costs by 48% for the US region.

Austin Gray's education history includes a Technician Apprenticeship from Westland Helicopters Training School from 1988 to 1992 in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Degree Bsc from Yeovil College from 1994 to 1997 in Mechanical Production Engineering/Business Studies. Austin also attended Westland Helicopters Apprentice/Yeovil College/Shatesbury School. Additionally, they have a Purchasing Awareness certification from the Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
