Jan Hellberg

Jan Hellberg is an experienced Functional Safety Engineer currently employed at Volvo Group GTT since January 2022 and also serves as a Functional Safety Assessor at Smart Eye. In March 2007, Jan founded Daikou Mapper AB, focusing on advising small to medium-sized product development companies on process improvement and change management. Prior experience includes consulting as a Functional Safety Expert at Volvo Car Group and conducting ASPICE gap analysis at CEVT. Jan has held various roles in safety leadership and research across multiple companies, including Arccore AB and Comentor AB, contributing to projects such as the AMASS research initiative. Jan holds an education from Chalmers University of Technology, completed between 1983 and 1986.
