Research Manager, Affectiva Media Analytics at Smart Eye

Serena Pang has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Serena currently works as a Research Manager in Media Analytics at Affectiva, a MIT spinout focused on humanizing technology. Serena is responsible for utilizing affective computing technology to detect emotions and cognitive states from the face. Affectiva was acquired by Smart Eye AB, where Serena also holds a position as a Research Manager in Affectiva Media Analytics.

Prior to their current roles, Serena worked as a Commercial Development Manager at Cognetivity Neurosciences Ltd, where they managed their medical device for early detection of cognitive impairment and a consumer wellness product.
