John Cooke

John Cooke is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and manufacturing systems management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Smart Label Solutions since October 2019, John focuses on creating digital supply chain solutions leveraging RFID technologies and IoT platforms. Prior to this role, John held the position of Director of Product at Plex Systems, where strategic planning and execution for business communications and product delivery were primary responsibilities. John’s career at General Motors spanned over three decades, where roles included Global Program Manager for Global Manufacturing and Warehouse Material Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems, among other positions, showcasing a strong expertise in lean material systems and advanced manufacturing processes. John holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Kettering University.
