Simon Woolhead is an experienced Senior Software Engineer and Analyst at SMT since January 2016, specializing in Finite Element Analysis and NVH analysis features, along with extensive work in software testing and integration. Prior to this role, Simon spent nearly eight years at the University of Nottingham, contributing as a Test Rig Design Engineer on multiple projects for Rolls-Royce, as well as serving as a Lab Demonstrator, Tutor Administrator, and Research Intern, showcasing a diverse skill set in design, teaching, and research. Simon's educational background includes a PhD and MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and foundational schooling at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle.
