Arron Patterson

Arron Patterson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. As the Chief Technology Officer at Smartpay New Zealand since July 2023, Arron leads efforts to innovate payment solutions for merchants. Simultaneously, Arron serves as Executive Director at Critical Infrastructure APAC and is a Startup Investor, Advisor, and Mentor at Flying Kiwi Angels. Additionally, Arron is the Managing Director at Santuario Investments Ltd and held a directorship at Dacreed, a SaaS company focused on learning experiences. Previous experience includes significant roles at Dell Technologies, where Arron was a Principal Engineer and Field Chief Technology Officer for the Asia Pacific region, as well as leadership positions at IBM New Zealand and Datacom Systems. Arron holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Auckland and a Stanford LEAD Professional Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
