Jay Clemmer

Jay Clemmer has a strong background in the technology industry, with their most recent position being the Lead Solutions Engineer at Smart Pro Technologies since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Purple Guys for twelve years, starting as a Senior System Engineer in June 2010 and working their way up. Additionally, Jay has experience as a Systems Administrator at Cornerstones of Care from March 2006 to June 2010, where they were responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining servers in a 500-seat network, with expertise in Server 2003, Server 2008, Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007, and Citrix.

Jay Clemmer attended Virginia Tech from 1991 to 1993, studying engineering. In 2008, they obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCTS for Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration, Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Configuration, and Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration. Jay also obtained the MCSE1 certification for Security on Windows Server 2003 in the same year.
