Andres Jaanson

Andres Jaanson has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Andres started their career as a summer intern at Playtech in 2016, where they worked as a Java developer. Later in the same year, they joined Olerex, Estonia's largest fuel company, as a software developer. Their responsibilities at Olerex included implementing new features to the internal CMS and building interfaces for internal APIs using MySQL, PHP, and JS. In 2018, Andres joined Mercans as a software developer for a short period. Currently, they are working at Smart Reporting GmbH as a software engineer, initially starting as a software engineer and recently being promoted to senior software engineer.

Andres Jaanson completed their undergraduate education from 2011 to 2014 at the University of Tartu, majoring in Physics. Apart from their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications from online platforms and institutions. In 2018, they completed the "Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization" from Coursera. In the same year, they also obtained certifications in areas such as Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Sequence Models, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects. Prior to that, in 2018, they acquired a certification in "Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision" from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute. In 2020, they completed certifications in "Greedy Algorithms, Minimum Spanning Trees, and Dynamic Programming," as well as "Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms" and "Graph Search, Shortest Paths, and Data Structures," all from Coursera.
