Philipp Matthies

Philipp Matthies has a diverse and extensive work experience. Philipp currently works as an Innovation Solutions Architect at Smart Reporting GmbH since April 2020. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the COO of Health Data Pioneers in November 2018. From May 2016 to October 2018, they worked as the Director of Research at SurgicEye GmbH. Philipp also had a brief stint as a Visiting Research Collaborator at MD Anderson Cancer Center in June and July 2016. Before that, from December 2011 to April 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität München. Among their earlier roles, Philipp worked as a Research Student at SurgicEye GmbH from February 2010 to August 2011 and at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from January 2009 to March 2009.

Philipp Matthies completed their Abitur at Gymnasium am Mosbacher Berg from 1996 to 2005. Afterward, they pursued a Diploma in Physics at the Technical University of Munich from 2005 to 2011. Subsequently, they obtained a Doctorate in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it in 2016.
