Daniel Claes has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics. Daniel worked as a Robotics Engineer at Smart Robotics since 2017. Prior to that, they were a PHD Candidate at the University of Liverpool from 2014 to 2017. Daniel also worked as an External Advisor for Magazino GmbH in 2017 and 2016, focusing on task allocation for robots and free navigation in a warehouse environment. From 2008 to 2012, Daniel worked as a Promoteam at Maastricht University. Daniel also had internships at Willow Garage in 2011 and McKinsey & Company in 2010.
Daniel Claes obtained their education primarily at Maastricht University. From 2007 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Artificial Intelligence. Following this, they worked towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the same university, specializing in the field of Robotics and Psychology from 2012 to 2013.
