Simon Jansen

Simon Jansen has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and mechatronics engineering. Simon started their career at the University as a tutor, where they mentored and guided first-year students in design-oriented projects. Simon then worked as an Edutainer at Stichting Techniekpromotie, demonstrating and conducting workshops on Lego Mindstorms robots to spark technical interests in children. Simon joined Eindhoven University of Technology as a Msc Mechanical Engineering student, focusing on developing their expertise in the field.

After completing their degree, Simon joined ASML as a Mechatronics Engineer, where they performed and documented specification tests and integrated mechatronic units in existing machines. Simon worked closely with specialists in mechanics and electronics.

Simon also worked at ALTEN as a Mechatronics Consultant, working on in-house projects and providing consulting services to companies like ASML and Philips. Simon'sfocus was on introducing flexible intelligent robotics to the industry.

Simon then joined Philips as a Project Lead, where they led various projects. Finally, they joined Smart Robotics as a Robotics Engineer, focusing on developing innovative robotics solutions.

Throughout their career, Simon has demonstrated a strong passion for robotics and mechatronics, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance their skills and contribute to the industry.

Simon Jansen's education history includes a Msc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they pursued from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University Eindhoven, where they studied from 2005 to 2012.
