Axel Hammar

Axel Hammar is an experienced technology entrepreneur and executive with a history of founding and leading innovative companies in the telecommunications and Internet of Things sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Smart Sensor Devices AB since 2016, Axel has developed business strategies for emerging markets and new product offerings. Previously, Axel co-owned and served as CTO of Wireless System Integration AB, focusing on technology selection and product architecture. Earlier ventures include founding IKT Konsult AB, where Axel specialized in e-commerce and web application development, and co-owning Dican AB, which focused on broadband data transmission. Axel's career began at Ericsson as an R&D Engineer, contributing to the development of 3G systems and multi-standard cellular platforms. Axel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Software Architecture from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
