Smart Therapy is a counselling and psychotherapy centre based in South West London, with locations on Battersea Rise and Lavender Hill.

The centre was created with a simple belief: the environment in which therapy takes place matters. Too often, therapeutic work happens in makeshift or overly clinical spaces that don’t fully support the depth and dignity of the work being done.

At Smart Therapy, our rooms are designed to feel calm, private and thoughtfully arranged, more like welcoming living spaces than clinical offices. The aim is to create environments that support meaningful therapeutic work for both clients and therapists.

Alongside private counselling and psychotherapy services, Smart Therapy provides professional therapy rooms for independent practitioners building their own practices. The centre has grown into a small community of therapists working across a range of approaches and supporting clients from across South West London.

We are also currently developing the Middle Ground Therapy Service, a structured counselling service designed for adults who feel caught between systems. Many people do not qualify for subsidised therapy, yet full-fee private therapy can feel financially difficult to sustain.

This new service aims to bridge that gap by offering structured, professionally supervised counselling delivered by carefully selected trainee therapists within a strong clinical framework.

Our focus is on building services carefully and responsibly, with clear governance, strong supervision structures and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
