Xavier Clarke

Xavier Clarke is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Group CFO at Smart4 Engineering since September 2022. Prior to this role, Xavier was the Chief Financial Officer at Flowbird Group from November 2013 to September 2022, overseeing the finance and legal department of a PE-owned technological company operating in 15 countries. In this position, Xavier handled financing, cash management, and financial communication, while also facilitating cross-border mergers and acquisitions and exploring new business models. Earlier career experience includes serving as Investment Director at Duke Street, where sourcing and executing mid-cap private equity deals was a primary focus, and as an Auditor & Consultant in Transaction Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in due diligence and statutory audits. Xavier holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL and has completed the DECF program, which is part of the French Chartered Accountants program, covering accounting, controlling, tax, and legal studies.
