Thomas Heaney

Thomas Heaney has over 12 years of experience in the field of network engineering and technology support. Thomas is currently working as a Network Engineer & Lead Network Administrator at Smartaira. Prior to this, they worked at Startouch, Inc as a Network Engineer for two years, from July 2019 to September 2021, and also as a Network Operations & Systems Support Technician for two months in 2019. Before that, they worked at Charter College as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching Computer Science on a contract basis from September 2013 to December 2013. Their earlier experience includes working as a Senior Technology Support Analyst at CMIT Solutions of Austin Dt&W from November 2009 to December 2013.

Thomas Heaney obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems from Western Washington University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in LAN Systems Network Administration from Austin Community College in 2006. Additionally, Thomas holds certifications from Cisco, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) obtained in 2020 and Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) obtained in 2019.
