Denisha Freeman

Denisha Freeman is an experienced accounting and financial reporting professional with a strong background in both corporate finance and academia. Currently serving as the Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting at SmartAsset since December 2022, Freeman previously held various positions at Deloitte from September 2014 to December 2022, culminating in a role as Senior Manager. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Ithaca College School of Business and multiple internships at Prudential Financial. Freeman earned an M.B.A. in Professional Accountancy and a B.S. in Business Administration Management with a focus on Accounting from Ithaca College. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the National Association of Black Accountants at Ithaca College.
