Amy Danley

Amy Danley has a diverse background in the banking industry. Amy is currently working at SmartBank as the SVP, BSA Compliance Officer since 2018. Prior to this, they held various positions at Capstone Bank, including SVP, Internal Audit Manager from 2016 to 2018 and SVP, Compliance Officer, BSA and Security Officer from 2008 to 2016. Amy began their career at The Peoples Bank & Trust Co as a Bank Auditor from 1997 to 2006 and later served as the Bank Secrecy Act Officer from 2006 to 2008. Amy started their banking career as a Bank Teller at Southtrust Bank in 1996.

Amy Danley's education history includes attending Cannon Financial Institute from 2000 to 2003, where they studied Internal Audit. During the same period, they also attended The Center for Financial Training, where they obtained a degree in General Banking. Prior to that, Amy Danley studied Business Major at Troy University from 1994 to 1996. Amy holds an Associate's degree in Business/Commerce, General from Wallace Community College Selma, which they earned from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Amy Danley has obtained various certifications including Cryptocurrency Security Investigator Certification from BankersWeb in 2022, Certified Fraud Professional from BankersHub in November 2020, Certified Internal Controls Auditor from the Institute for Internal Controls in 2015, and Anti-Money Laundering Professional from BAI in 2007.
