Andy Carey

Andy Carey has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Andy currently holds the position of SVP Commercial Relationship Manager at SmartBank since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Regions Financial Corporation for 14 years, where they held various roles including SVP; Commercial Banking, Relationship Manager IV and SVP Consumer Sales Manager. Andy also worked at Central Carolina Bank as a Retail Group Manager and at Royal Bank of Canada- Centura Bank as a Branch Manager/ Retail Executive. Andy began their career at Barnett Bank as a Branch Manager. Andy's experience includes managing teams, acquiring and retaining clients, and achieving significant growth in deposits.

Andy Carey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Florida State University in 1993.
