Nate Strall

Nate serves SmartBank as the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development. Nate has over 16 years’ experience working with financial institutions in advising on corporate initiatives including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and strategic planning. Nate attended The Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude with a BSBA in Finance from the Fisher College of Business. Prior to joining SmartBank, Nate served as a Senior Vice President in the Financial Services Investment Banking Group of Raymond James where his primary focus was depository institutions. Prior to Raymond James, Nate worked in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group of Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. as a Vice President. Additionally, Nate worked for Lancaster Pollard where he focused on debt financing for health care, senior living and affordable housing clients. Nate began his career as an Analyst in the investment banking group of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods covering banks and thrifts.
