Robert Kuhn

Robert serves as Alabama’s Regional President for SmartBank. With more than 40 years of experience in the banking industry, Robert provides leadership and support to SmartBank’s Alabama Market Executives in the sales process, teambuilding and other efforts within his footprint’s communities. Robert is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Investment Management. Additionally, he is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Commercial Lending Graduate School. Prior to joining SmartBank, Robert served as the President & CEO of Capstone Bank, based in Tuscaloosa, AL. Robert currently serves as a board of director member for both the Alabama Bankers Association and Hospice of West Alabama.
