John Mejía

John Mejía has over 13 years of work experience in the field of organizational development and training. John began their career in 2007 as a Training Vendor - Intern at IBM, where they designed training plans and created agendas for corporate induction. In 2009, they moved to Oracle as an Executive Training, where they designed, executed and evaluated the annual training plan for ORACLE Colombia. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Alpina as an Advisor of Shared Services and Senior Training Consultant, where they designed, executed, supervised and measured the training plan of Universidad Alpina for the areas of Sales, Logistics and Marketing. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Amway as a Training Manager and Organizational Development & Training Lead, where they developed staff training to maximize their contribution to the business, as well as helped to implement changes such as IFRS and CRM services. In 2021, they moved to Crehana as an Education Product Owner, and in 2022 they became the Product and Education Director at smartBeemo.

John Mejía has a diverse educational background. John started their academic career in 2010 at SUNY Empire State College, where they earned a Bachelor in marketing management. In 2012, they attended Drucker School of Management and obtained a PNL Ontológico - Diseño Instruccional para negocios. The following year, they studied at The University of Texas at Arlington and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Project management. From 2011 to 2016, they attended Universidad de Los Andes and obtained a degree in Periodista. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Universidad EAFIT and studied Idiomas, obtaining a degree in Portugués. In 2018, they attended Tecnológico de Monterrey and obtained a Content curation executive advisor degree in Educação. Later that year, they attended Henley Business School and obtained a Belbin Team Roles Acredited. In 2019, they attended INALDE Business School and obtained a HR Analytics & Big data degree in Desenvolvimento de Recursos Humanos.
