Monica Gers has been working since 2009, beginning their career at Colombina as Gerente de Marca Corporativa. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Colombina brand, including leading a large-scale project to launch a new portfolio, participating in the definition and implementation of 360° corporate campaigns in consumer and channels, managing the external communication strategy in media and digital strategy. Monica also served as Coordinadora de Marca Corporativa, responsible for corporate activities in consumer and channels, implementation of corporate campaigns, digital marketing strategy, external communication strategy in media, and implementation of nutritional content seals and guideline daily amounts on all business packages. Additionally, they served as Coordinadora de Comunicaciones. In 2021, Monica began working as Marketing Director at smartBeemo, where their job is to make it possible for people to build modern day businesses.
Monica Gers has a diverse educational background. Monica earned an Executive MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2017. In 2015, they obtained a Diplomado en Finanzas from Universidad ICESI, specializing in Finanzas, general. Monica also obtained two diplomas from Universidad ICESI in 2012 and 2009, respectively. The first was a Diplomado de Mercadeo en Internet in the field of Marketing, and the second was a Diplomado de Mercadeo Estratégico in the field of Marketing. Finally, they earned a Comunicación con énfasis en Organizaciones from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2009.
