Julia Scott

Julia Scott is an accomplished localisation and software development professional with over 15 years of experience in the technology and gaming industries. Currently serving as Localisation Manager at Smartbox Assistive Technology since January 2017, Julia has also held the roles of Software Development Manager and International Support Specialist. Prior experience includes Project Manager at Lemoine International GmbH and Multilingual Localisation Specialist at Electronic Arts (EA). Julia’s expertise in managing complex localisation projects is further highlighted by a tenure as Localisation Project Manager at Motorola Mobility, where a focus on Android devices and QA testing was essential. Earlier roles included significant positions at Nokia, where Julia played a key role in launching the Nokia Music Service across 27 countries. Julia holds a BA Joint Honours in French and German from the University of Leeds.
