Donavin Hawkey

Donavin Hawkey is a Design Engineering Manager at SmartCap® since April 2020, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Design Office Manager at Serco Industries from July 2003 to April 2023, where responsibilities included generating comprehensive job sheets from customer orders based on production schedules. Prior experience includes serving as an Apprentice Millwright at Drive Torque from January 2000 to December 2002, focusing on the overhauling of industrial gearboxes, motors, and pumps, as well as designing and manufacturing various components. Donavin holds a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Coastal Technical College, earned between 2003 and 2008.
