SmartCare Living (formerly SmartSpace Technologies) is the exclusive installer of SmartGuardian in Ireland, delivering privacy-first technology solutions that support ageing in place, home safety, and independent living.

We specialise in the professional design and installation of SmartGuardian — an advanced, AI-powered home safety system that protects older adults and vulnerable individuals while preserving dignity, independence, and privacy. Unlike traditional personal alarms, SmartGuardian requires nothing to be worn or pressed, operating discreetly in the background with one sensor per room to detect falls, distress events, and abnormal patterns of behaviour in real time.

SmartGuardian is a proven technology internationally, widely used across the care sector in Japan, Australia, the US and Canada, and has been introduced to Ireland within the past 12 months. It is now trusted by families across Leinster and is increasingly used to support hospital discharge planning, Occupational Therapy recommendations, and home-based care pathways — often delaying or removing the need for residential care.

In addition to SmartGuardian, SmartCare Living delivers a wider suite of ageing-in-place and home safety services, including home safety and independence assessments, assistive technology and smart-home integration, falls prevention solutions, and ongoing support for families, carers, and professionals.

We also continue to provide professional installation of Ring security systems, supporting homeowners with trusted, high-quality home security solutions alongside our care-focused offerings.

SmartCare Living is award-recognised, having received national recognition from Three Ireland for innovation and impact, and our technology is featured within Health Service Executive memory room environments, supporting awareness and best practice in dementia-friendly care.

Based in Wicklow, we proudly serve clients across Leinster — helping people live safely at home, for longer.
